An innovative micrometric bone marrow aspiration system
An innovative micrometric aspiration system that uses nozzles arranged around the entire circumference of the trocar, which is closed at its distal end.The structure of this device allows, once the cortical bone is crossed, for the sampling of a higher bone marrow cell concentration within the same aspirated volume compared to similar devices. This is due to the positioning of the aspiration ports, which prevents peripheral blood collection and selectively samples only marrow blood.

One-step procedure
One-step procedure allowing simultaneous collection of small samples from multiple bone marrow sites, preserving the marrow architecture and minimizing peripheral blood aspiration, thus achieving higher concentrations of mesenchymal progenitor cells.
During the sampling process, the aspiration cannula is gradually retracted by 1 cm with each full rotation, selectively collecting 1 to 2 ml of mesenchymal cellsfrom the lateral ports.
The micrometric ring and device mechanics allow precise repositioning of the lateral aspiration holes within the marrow cavity.
After each 1 to 2 ml collection, the trocar handle is rotated 360° counterclockwise, retracting the device approximately 1 cm from the body.
Subsequent aspirations are then performed from these new marrow sites.
This differs from conventional open-tip needle aspirations, which are repeatedly performed from the same insertion point.
